Wendy’s does an excellent job with their social media. They are best known for their witty replies to customers over Twitter, however, they don’t slack on ensuring there is quality throughout the rest of their social media reach as well. This is apparent in a simple news feed post that I analyzed. This post caught my eye as it included an animation turning a couple dropping quarters into a Frosty. Wendy’s was running a sale that allowed customers to get a discount on their Small Frosty. The Seascape Principle here is utilizing the Value Principle, providing customers with a bargain price on a tasty treat.

Three design principles that were utilized in this post are:
- Repetition – The usage of repeating cups incorporates the repetition design principle, creating a cohesive image that has great balance.
- Color – The red, white and blue colors used in this post match the colors from the Wendy’s logo. It helps to tie the whole design together and keeps the design complementary to their branding.
- Balance – The position of the left and right cups provide a balance to the main focal point of the image.
